Ms. Taylor has particular experience in the use of collaborative law to guide her clients through the divorce process and resolve related issues involving children and property. When it is necessary to achieve her clients’ goals, however, Jamie Taylor is a strong advocate in court who believes in client-focused representation.
Jamie L. Taylor devotes her entire practice to helping families during periods of transition. Practicing solely in the area of Family Law allows Ms. Taylor to focus her energy on providing her clients with the tools and resources necessary to successfully and amicably guide their family through transition. A background in corporate acquisitions and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business aids in providing clients with custom and innovative options for dividing marital estates that maximizes future gain while minimizing disruption and tax consequences. As an active member of the Texas Collaborative Law Community, Ms. Taylor feels that it is very important for her clients to know all of their options when seeking a Divorce, Child Custody Case or Modification of an existing order. Collaborative Law provides an opportunity for clients to privately restructure their family without the necessity of a court battle. In cases where litigation is unavoidable Ms. Taylor believes in zealously advocating for her clients and protecting their interest. Regardless of the type of case she holds a strong belief that family law cases should not be treated like a case file, that the attorney should always remain mindful that she is dealing with a family navigating a very difficult transition.
